Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE)

At Priestmead Primary School, we are committed to providing an age-appropriate Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) curriculum that supports children to develop healthy relationships, understand how they grow and change, and learn how to keep themselves safe.

The Growing Up units forms part of the statutory Relationships Education and science curriculum and is taught to all pupils.

Kapow will 

The Year 6 unit is non-statutory. Parents have the right to request that their child be withdrawn from this unit. Any requests for withdrawal should be discussed with the school in the first instance.

We encourage parents and carers to review the materials provided and contact the school if they have any questions or would like to discuss any aspect of the curriculum further.
