Creativity & Enrichment
Our Aim
Throughout the year, we offer the children a wide range of experiences and enrichment opportunities focussed towards creativity. We want children to showcase talents and have an opportunity to perform! We seek to weave these throughout our curriculum, as well as provide many additional opportunities for children to develop their interests and talent.
Sharing and Performing
Autumn Term: The Christmas Winter Concert (Early Years and Year 1) and Winter Concert (Choir)
Spring Term: Spring Serenade Music Performance, Year 4 Production
Summer Term: Year 6 Production
Class assemblies throughout the year (Years 2-6)
Engagement
Autumn Term: Pantomime (EYFS), Aldenham Country Park (Year 1), British Museum (Year 3), Roald Dahl Museum (Year 4), Harry Potter Studios (Year 5), Bentley Priory Museum (Year 6)
Spring Term: Science Museum (Year 1), National Portrait Gallery (Year 2), Residential Trips (Year 5)
Summer Term: Paradise Wildlife Park (Rec), Hampton Court Palace Trip (Year 2), Hindu Temple Visit (Year 3), Iver Environment Centre (Year 4), Royal Observatory Visit (Year 5), Tate Modern (Year 6)
Specialist Music Teaching
All children in years 1-6 access weekly music lessons with a professional musician.
In addition, we offer specialist one-to-one and group instrumental tuition in guitar, piano, keyboard, drums and violin.
