Little Pegasus Nursery 

We are delighted to announce the opening of Little Pegasus Nursery at Priestmead Primary School. Priestmead was successful in securing funding through the Department for Education’s (DfE) School-Based Nursery Capital Grant Programme and is proud to be only the third school in the London Borough of Harrow to secure this funding,  a significant milestone for our school and wider community.

As part of this exciting development, we are creating a brand-new nursery provision from the ground up, designed specifically for our youngest learners. The project will provide a modern, purpose-built environment for children aged 2 years and above, with high-quality indoor and outdoor learning spaces carefully designed to support early development, curiosity and play.

Building works are due to begin shortly, and we look forward to sharing updates with families as the project progresses. The nursery will benefit from its own dedicated learning environment, nurturing spaces and access to high-quality outdoor provision, all whilst remaining fully connected to the wider Priestmead community and ethos.

At launch, Little Pegasus Nursery will initially provide places for children aged 2–3 years old, with a strong focus on communication and language, personal development, early reading, creativity and school readiness. The provision will offer both a core nursery day and an optional extended day aligned to the main school timetable, supporting families whilst maintaining a high-quality early years experience.

We are incredibly excited about this next chapter for Priestmead and look forward to welcoming our youngest learners into Little Pegasus Nursery.

Intakes and Deadlines: Available places will be allocated on a termly basis. Please make sure you apply before the Application Deadlines (see below) to be considered for the appropriate start of term.

- For a September 2026 Start: please apply by 30th June 2026

- For a January 2027 Start: please apply by 31st August 2026

Late Applications: Any applications received after the respective deadline(s) will be considered on an ongoing basis.
